Donations
We need your help to make this project a reality. The biggest monetary hurdle is the intercontinental airfare for 25 students. Beyond that, we need to raise money for visas, food and spending money.
Housing
The Gitameit students will live with host families in each of the areas they visit. We are seeking host families in the New Haven, CT area. The families will be asked to provide breakfast and limited transportation depending on the city.
Concerts
An important part of this project is performing! We are looking for interesting concert opportunities in New York and New Haven, CT. These concerts should promote our goals of cultural exchange and friendship by giving the Gitameit students a new musical experience as well as introducing the audience to the Burmese musicians.
